1. Charlie Sheen is an idiot and will probably end up with his own stupid reality show that will get 40 million viewers the first day and then people will fall asleep and quit watching. What person, celebrity or not, would you watch every eppy of a reality show if they were the center of it all?

2. We all pay bills and wish we didn't have to. We all work and wish we could just lay around all day doing nothing. We all have those grown up responsibilities that we wish we could give to an African Elephant. Besides all the things the African Elephant got from you for the day, what is something from your high school years that you miss most of all?

3. Sometimes we want to grow wings and fly. Whats the farthest you've fallen?

4. There is square bread, wheat bread, circle shaped bread, bread with nuts in it, funny named bread. When you open a bread bag, do you twist it when you are done or put the metal tie thingie back on? (And did you know that if you look at that metal tie thingie, it has a day of the week printed on it?)

5. Some spoiled little brat (hey.. my opinion) called 911 on her teacher because he shook his own desk to get the students attention in the class. (I know, right?) Think back... what clever ways did a teacher of yours use to get the attention of the class or a particular student?

The end of an ear...

Yep. I know I said "ear". I meant to say era, but ear sounds so much better.

And yes, Thursday Thunks has posted it's last thunk last week. I'm sure you heard the rumors on Bud's blog. The rumors are true. After 2 wonderful years of trying to come up with the most insane questions anyone wouldn't want to answer, Kimber & I have decided to call it quits.

We want to send out a huge thank you & big cyber kiss to Bud. He stepped in when we hit a brick wall... if it wasn't for him this post would have happened months ago. We love you, Bud, and you will forever be our favorite thunker. We know we kinda forced you into doing to the meme - I mean, really, how could you say no, right? We're glad you didn't and stuck with it these 2 years.

We've been asking you forever and we'll tell ya one more time.... since we are done blogging and if you really want to stay in touch, you can still find both Kimber & I over at InsanityCafe.com. We still haven't figured out why you haven't gone over there yet! We've done everything short of begging!!! (Its just like blogging, just in conversation form! And yes, the insane questions are there, too!)

Special Talents

An important note about our friend and co-author, Kimber…

Kimber is in a trauma center in Scottsdale. She had an aneurysm on Tuesday. Her mom posted on FB that she hit a granite table & has stitches and a concussion. She must be very proud of her children, who kept their heads, called 911 where she was flown by helicopter to Scottsdale. Berleen spoke to Anthony, Kimber’s husband. She wrote me, “She's got 9 stitches in her head and a lot of bruising. She's gonna be fine. Her elbow, knee & back are messed up from the bounce... she's in ICU now but might be released tomorrow out of ICU.”

We ask that you have a good thought, or say a prayer for our good friend. We will update you on her condition here if there is further news to report. While I feel a bit odd posting this here, not doing so just did not seem right. Here’s to a speedy recovery!

Days of our Lives paid tribute to Francis Reid/Alice Horton this week (Francis, the actress, died in February, Alice (the character) died last week). She was 91 years old and was protrayed as a smart, witty, funny, loving, always gave the best advice type woman. Wonderful mother, grandmother, friend... many characters (and cast members) commented on how they strive to be the type of woman she was. Is there someone in your life that you strive to be like?

Thursday Thunks: Never Agree in the First Place

My oldest demon (aka Demon #1) is in Oklahoma! The musical this weekend. Yep, my kid is a drama geek. Have you ever been in a play or musical? Were you in the drama club in high school?

1. Sometimes when you are sitting around doing nothing, a thought randomly pops into your head. How many measuring cups do you own?
2. What is your favorite ice cream topping?
3. Egg nog - is it digestible?
4. Were you one of the insane humans who went to a store last Friday?
5. There are 12 months in a year, anywhere from 28 - 31 days in a month, depending on the year, of course. Each day holds a special meaning for someone, some days hold a special meaning for everybody. Do you have a 2010 calendar yet?
6. Kids are funny sometimes and say the darndest things, but it's ok because they are kids and they are so adorable. A two year old is cute when they say a swear word. Admit it, they are. What was your favorite nursery rhyme growing up? Hey - if you don't have a favorite, just work with me here and pick the first one that fell off the wall and broke like an egg or came out of the sky like a cow who just jumped over the moon.
7. Most of us have some type of machine that people like to call 'vehicles'. Some are blue, some are yellow, some are red. Some have trunks, some have beds and some even can't decide if they are a car or a truck. We put gas in them, check the oil and drive them all over the place and stop them in places called parking spots. Picture in your mind the machine you currently own and if you own more than one, picture the one you last drove - when was the last time you had a new tire on it?
8. For those of us on Facebook, do you wish to share your Facebook identity with us?
9. Santa's coming! Where's the best place to hide presents? Any clever little tricks for keeping those nosey people from ruining the surprise?
10. Have you heard that the world is going to end in 2012? Some people think that the world isn't actually going to go BOOM! and be no more, they think that the "end of the world" is actually going to be a worldwide takeover by a certain country and/or religion, which all has to do with the current president of the USA. Do you agree?
